On June 22 2011 I Witnessed Arabiian having a Seizure, it lasted for about 15 minutes.
On August 25th 2011 Arabiian had another Seizure which I was able to document on film, it lasted even longer. The thing that scares me is how many times he’s had a seizure before and i’m not home, and don’t know about it???
Now I have to get use to living with an Epileptic Dog, don’t get me wrong he is my baby and I will always treat him kindly and love him. it just makes me sad that he’s going through this. ;(
My heart really goes out to him, because he gets so weak. and there’s really nothing I could do, except try to keep him calm and let him ride it out.
My other 2 dogs are Dayzee and Majik.

I have been going … I have been going through dog seizures for 4 years with my IG Xander. I want to tell you that I leave him in the kennel when not home because it was told by my vet as the safest place for a dog if he would have a seizure while gone. Xan gets on teaspoon of all natural vanilla ice cream and Rescue Remedy as a post seizure treat to re-establish his blood sugars. Good Luck Arabian looked very similiar to Xan in movement and mannerisms with his seizure.

@der247 thank you … @der247 thank you for watching my video sweetie.. the doctor said they need to run a couple of blood test, but that can cost thousands of dollars and even that is not a cure or a solution, there’s really nothing they can do anyway, the best thing to do when a dog has a seizure, is keep them calm and comfortable as much as possible. they will ride it out….. it’s sad i know.
sniff sniff… … sniff sniff… while watching this video i was having a teary eye… i truly know how you feel… i have a dog of my own and i teat him like my baby…. how is your dog doing? did the doctor say that they can find a cure for him?
